CSHealthcare are the worst health insurers (IMHO), but who do YOU recommend please?

If you've just come across them, how do you know they are very good?coachman12 said:Just come across this link for a very good company

Because the link I posted shows the company's direct page for The Exeter Health Insurers, which I am a member of, and therefore know they are very good. Also, having seen that, I found the drewberry company had got 5 stars on TrustPilot. OK ?rs65 said:

Thank you BJV. I am looking around for just such recommendations to have in my top 10 list if my existing insurers ever let me down. It seems that MSE members so far think that the "big" health insurers are the safest bet. I wonder if this is the universal view ?BJV said:
BUPA all the way. I sort out the health care for work and I always shop around to get the best deals. We wanted the top level of cover and have to say while thankfully we have never had to make a claim so far they are inexpensive and so quick to amend, change or do anything.coachman12 said:I can't believe that no MSE members have private health insurance and could give the benefit of their thoughts and experiences.0 -
My only concern about my current health insurer is that dentistry is excluded. Does anyone have comprehensive health insurance which covers "choppers" as well as the usual medical stuff please?0

Can anyone tell me if they use AXA PPP please , as it has been recommended to me by a friend who raves about the company in relation to personal healthcare insurance ?

Before this thread comes to an end, I am still most anxious to hear from any of the 8 million in Britain who have private healthcare insurance in order to learn from their own personal experiences and get an idea of which are most popular. I currently have only a few recommendations from MSE members. May I ask again for anyone who can provide info to drop a posting on this thread please.

My wife's work policy is with Axa/PPP. She's not had to deal with anything major, but she's had a few concerns checked out at a local private hospital. It seems fine.coachman12 said:Can anyone tell me if they use AXA PPP please , as it has been recommended to me by a friend who raves about the company in relation to personal healthcare insurance ?

Thx for that. It's good to know that another poster is keen on Axa/PPP. It certainly seems the way to go if I need to leave my smaller mutual society at The Exeter, which is by far the best of the mutuals, so much better than the worst mutual which is CSHealthcare. Thx again.mgfvvc said:
