  • My mate had one of these cards last year....seemed to have a stepped credit limit increase ratio..

Think they have changed that now....they advertise no interest..no cash withdrawal fees and instead quote a fee each month even if you don’t have a balance.

Needless to say he’s closed it down....

Why is latest advert not mentioning those monthly fees inc' 0 balance you mention.
    thanks

They've changed their business model - no monthly fees anymore - go to the FAQ section - and you'll see two parts - one for the latest card, and one for existing customers with the old card which is no longer available.

    Thanks mser's
I'll not apply just yet, best I continue to pay down existing cards.
Slightly tempting though to maybe use for Fuel and pay off in full each month to begin to return to re payment practices which I have only partly attempted in past.
Though I wouldn't necessarily need increased credit limits, not much point applying at this stage
On another point with new persistent debt rules in effect , what advantage is there to Higher Card Limits, when New Rules want re payment much faster than before.

  • My friend had the monthly fee version....I think it was £7 for a credit limit of £500.

The fee is still payable even if the balance is zero.....it was almost like paying a fee to have acccess to credit....I thought it was a bad product at the time.

Didn’t realise they had changed the cr3dit card model
