Ordered a running top from adidas but wasn't sure if the medium would be a better fit so ordered a large. By mistake I sent back the Large using the medium returns label. Realised my mistake I contacted adidas who said just return the medium using its returns label and when the warehouse receives large they will send it back. They have only refunded me for one running top and wont refund me for the other one as they say they never received it and need proof of postage. The parcel was dropped off at sorting office who do not give receipts because its parcelforce. Been on the phone now about five times with the last call lasting over an hour. They keep saying need proof of postage which I don't have. What consumer rights do I have as Adidas customer service keep repeating I need proof of postage which I don’t have and can’t get.

If you used their label, won't their systems show up if it's scanned anywhere at any point? It may be a case of waiting a few days and ringing them again to see if it's turned up.
If it doesn't and you don't have proof of postage, they aren't obliged to refund you.0
