Holiday Haggler I've been Money Tipped!
I work full time Monday - Friday and most viewings are conducted during these hours so I'm finding it very hard to even get through the front door of properties in my area.

You either need to prioritise your search by taking time off. If work can be flexible then ask them.

@amieloustew I can’t tell you how much comfort your post has given me. I am in EXACTLY the same position and have ended up in tears several times over the shear disappointment and frustration. Thank you just for sharing and I wish you good luck!!

as for @ethank I am currently on the front line of the NHS, I am unable to prioritise house searching because I’m caring for the nations sickest! Does that really mean I should be last in the pile?

I can’t believe how much my situation has take a turn 😊

Just an update for you all:

We (my partner and I) are due to complete on our first home next Friday!
didnt think it would happen due to lockdown and but funds are to be released 14th in preparation for Friday! Link for those who are nosey like me https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-68658060.html

@competsoph I’m really happy this post made you feel this way (but obviously not happy that you’ve ended up in tears but I can totally relate). I felt so out of my depth and I thought it wasn’t meant to be. Then we found our lovely home (touch wood nothing goes tits up) and I’m so excited/nervous/shell shocked 😂

I hope everyone in the same position I was finds their perfect home!

Wow! That’s a lot of house for your money. You bought a villa!  :)

Thank you, I'm really proud that we snapped this up. The area we were looking is generally really affordable (compared to some of the London/Southern properties I see posted in this forum) but this really is a diamond in the rough. It was handy because I have a work friend whose parents live in a house of the same layout so I could get a sense of the house before I viewed it (this was before lockdown).
