Person with same name - bad credit

I recently did a credit check at my bank which failed - it turns out my name was linked with my husbands ex wife as she has the same name. It came up with all sorts of questions about her home address and the store cards she has. How can I get her details "unlinked" from mine?

You can get a copy of your file from all the credit reference agencies. If data about someone else is on your file you then contact the credit agency to request 'dissociation' or 'disassociation' to remove their data from your file. It's a standard process for this type of error.
