Which cruise company to pick?

Hey guys, hope you're having a pleasant weekend. Cheers from Vietnam.
I'm about to fly from Vietnam to Australia (Sydney) with my girlfriend and I was thinking of different ways of spending a short trip with her. Since she has never been on a boat, I've figured out to do a short cruise from Sydney and maybe explore some tropical island.
Last few days, I've been checking prices and packages from Sydney and I've found some sweet options, but very curious which carrier is the best bang for a buck? Prices vary a lot for the very similar itineraries and service.
What would be the best option for a short cruise from Sydney?
I appreciate any help. Cheers!

You need to factor in more than the cruise price (and they do seem to vary from £33 per night - Norwegian Jewel to £185 per night - Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas - based on outside cabins Feb/March cruises)
what sort of facilities would you like? (may be important if a lot of sea days)
bar prices / packages can vary between lines and should be factored in (even if you only partake of soft drinks)
Vacationstogo (a US site) has a good search facility to allow you to compare what is on offer for your required dates, check prices and facilities0
