I also had my appeal dismissed by IAS. Now getting letters from a firm called Gladstone’s. Make me sick

The IAS is a kangaroo court and should not be used.

If you have a court claim or LBC then you should read the guide to court written by bargepole in post 2 of the NEWBIES.

Calling them 'a firm called Gladstones' as if they are news to this forum, suggests you haven't read any of our THOUSANDS of Gladstones threads yet and realised this is normal and they will issue a claim, and how to defend and win.

You MUST read Gladstones court claim threads to be prepared.

Sounds like you don't know what to expect next. Don't be that person, it's here already.

You already wasted your time appealing to the IAS that you should never have tried.

All as above ^^^^^^^^

The IPC scam was set up by Davies and Hurley who at the time, both were Gladstones Solicitors.
Once the scam was exposed, Hurley became the IPC and Davies remained with Gladstones.

The IPC recruited PPC's .... the PPC's pay the IPC a subscription fee and so it is common practice for the IAS/IPC to reject appeals because they are protecting their members.
SCAM OR NOT ???? Of course it's a scam and Hurley is the head honcho

Then, after all the rubbish of debt collectors, the file ends up on the desk of Hurley's mate ..... that's John Davies of Gladstones who then pretend they are real solicitors and take people to court

MEGA SCAM = DAVIES AND HURLEY
These two clowns are overdue a few years at Her Majesty's pleasure

Have you read this?

http://parking-prankster.blogspot.com/2016/11/residential-parking.html

what does your lease/AST say about parking? Does it mention the need to display a permit? If not then it may take primacy over the self serving TnC of the scammer, and interfere with your lawful right to “quiet enjoyment” of your property, possible an offence under The Landlord and Tenants Acts.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
