underfloor insulation?

to be able to get a boiler replacement under the eco scheme i have to have underfloor insulation.
i know many people have had problems with cavity wall insulation, damp etc.
can the underfloor insulation cause problems as well, - there is no cellar , so i beleive the floor boards will have to be lifted.
i don't really want any problems with underfloor damp problems.
any views on this?

I have fitted insulation under the floors in my house and it should be ok if put in properly, I have fitted insulation boards and they would have a foil on both sides. I got mine at a company called BMD and they were very helpful and delivered the boards.
I have found their website, give them a call. https://bmdinsulation.com

Does this scheme then rule out those with concrete floors (which for practical purposes cannot be lifted to fit insulation under)?0

If you have 3x2 joists with T&G boards, you will be severely limited on the thickness of insulation that can be fitted. The T&G boards will also add to the labour required, and the workmen need to be very careful not to trash the boards when they are lifted.Do you really want the floors insulated or are there other energy savings that could be adopted instead ?Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

i'm not really interested in having underfloor insulation, just that i have to have it to qualify for eco boiler scheme

I assume that the cost of installing underfloor insulation would exceed the price of a new boiler install.
