Work and Health Programme

Options
I've been out of work since August 2017 and last year I was refererred by my job centre to go on the work and helath programme. which I've been attending over the last few months..

However my advisor at Pluss made me an appointment to see a Health Practioner and he asked me loads of personal questions which I felt uncomfortable with.

After my appointment with him, I saw my advisor and said that she thinks I'm suffering from depressoon and although I'm eating and sleeping ok I don't think I am.

Is it worth me making me a complaint and I do appreciate the help I'm getting from them

Any advice ?

Thanks

Sorry but a complaint for what reason? Personally, i think they may have just been trying to be helpful.

I'm not saying you are suffering from depression but some people don't realise that there could be issues because they just carry on regardless.
  • Anxiety & depression can be mis-labelled as for example diabetic hypo's. :( it's not always clear cut.

The job centre throught they were helping by today suggesting I should ask my zero-hours employer for my old job back as they heard they lost a permanent Receptionist or 2 in recent weeks, (after previously killing myself before in eating pizza and cheap wine after many a late shift where I was so unhappy in 2019) fortunately old employer doesn't agree or I phrased it in such a way they know, I really just want a reference which has now been agreed to.

I really got lots of other good suggestions so it was one lame out of many, it's just keeping prospective for every duff idea there are five greats. Got to thank them for clarifying their 90 minutes travel time - that's a biggie, for years I never knew the maximum up to 90 mins simply applies for allowing to those making comfortable journeys/connections on public transport. I was litterally throwing myself under the bus by trying to apply further away as for years I thought something else.
