Looking for ideas to make money out of a round the world trip. Will be going to Japan, New Zealand, Australia and Cook Islands. Would welcome suggestions and/or reading material.

Thanks

Better cross the first two off my list ;) !!

Sorry I'm a bit vague. The obvious idea that came to mind was courier work (completely legal of course:A); maybe there is something that can be bought in one country and sold in another, legitimately of course.
I appreciate you answering with the links; I'll check them out. I'll be making the trip anyway, I was just trying to get ideas on how I might make some legal money on the way (or when I return) to soften the financial blow!

    Cheers Albalad.

I'd give the Cook Islands a miss - I think they are highly overated! I spent two weeks there (on a RTW trip) and was thoroughly bored. The highlight of my time there was the cross Island walk over the main island, you can also cycle around it as well but I thought Fiji was much nicer!

I thoroughly recommend a book called Work Your Way Around the World by Susan Griffith. It does what it says on the tin really; a directory of hundreds of different ways of making a bit of cash while you are travelling. If you are after a relaxing trip, however, some of the jobs might be a bit too much like hard graft. Happy travels!

I had probably two of the best weeks of my 7 month round the world in the cook islands. It is not set up like as much of a resort and you can mix with the locals very easily - try Trader Jacks after work on a friday.
