NatWest pulling new build mortgage due to no NHBC certificate before completion

  • It’s head office I’ve spoke to and they have made it clear they are putting the house back on the market if we can’t resolve this and as previously stated plenty others have moved into the development with no issues from their lenders
  • Sounds like crossed wires to me. What is your mortgage broker saying?
  • He doesn’t work Mondays making this very stressful I’ll be on the phone to him first thing though

    It is normal for newbuild completion notice to wait until the NHBC inspection has been done and the NHBC Cover Note issued.

    The certification follows after completion.
