First Direct Incentive

I opened a Bank Account with First Direct First Account on 5/12/2019 and switch was completed on 5/1/20 I applied all the cirtieria to receive the bonus and they say the bonus which I was pretty sure was £100 they said it was £50 but I remember this site saying it was £100 (I think) and also when the link took me through to the FD it said £100 as it is nearly always £100, would anyone know how to check what the bonus incentive was in Dec 2019 and has anyone else had this problem? I also found their customer service poor, and very slow at replying to Secure Messages. Tia

Can't find anything directly from FD about the terms of the offer, but all the MSE emails for Dec refer to a £100 offer for switching to them. I'd keep pushing them as that is the offer that is on the cards now.0

Pretty sure that the £100 did not kick in till late Dec. And was £50 previously. This incentive also did not include the usual extra £25 bride via MSE.
Any incentive is also worked from the date you apply, not when you switch in.Life in the slow lane0 -

I might switch if the £25 bride offer is reinstated!

This - thanks to the wonders of Web Archive, it can be seen that the offer promoted via MSE was indeed £50 throughout December (pages archived on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th) and not £100 until the page dated 1st January.born_again wrote: »Pretty sure that the £100 did not kick in till late Dec. Whoops, was looking at Jan emails not Dec -facepalm-
All my Dec emails refer to the £50 offer, so as above you might be out of luck since the offer will run from when you opened your account.0 -
The incentive on 5 Dec was £50. They are correct.0

Thanks everyone I was not sure and had deleted the email, they put the £50 in today so I guess not bad for a switch that cost me nothing
Thanks again folks. 0
