Nationwide CC, secure?

I had £3000 in dodgy purchases (air tickets etc) added to my account last feb,they contacted me and the purchases were removed no problem,I slashed the credit limit to under a thousand as I was told it was "big" money they were after.Last week a letter from Nationwide informed me that they had put my credit limit up to £1200,a couple of days later another letter stated that my credit card was being replaced due to fraud concerns.A new credit card has now been rushed to me but i,m now starting to question if Nationwide is really secure and if I would be better using another provider like the post office card (needs to be holiday friendly).Any one else been rushed a replacement card ?

I have a nw card and havent heard anything about it...

They are really good at paying back money when it goes fraudulently from your account so in one way their security is less important if you know they'll sort out any problems...not sure if that answers your question though.

I wouldn't say rushed. They sent my replacement by 2nd class post.

I had a similar thing last year. NW contacted me over some "unusual" spending and closed my account transferring to a new account with them. They simply asked us to confirm which expenditure was ours. Only slight problem occurred when the new account arrived they had charged for balance transfer but it was removed as soon as I called and explained.
