    I am not going by any FAQ or hearsay on some 3rd party website but by the official Santander fee information document which forms part of the T&Cs for the account, and for which I have posted the link twice in this thread.

    Ive found that using my Santander card at their ATMs in Spain is the only way to avoid atm charges. Nearly all spanish banksnow charge between €2 & €5 each time you use their ATMs
