Smart gas meter not pairing with electric meter?
Options
Hi, EDF came & installed my smart meters last week. I wasn't around, but apparently the installer had some issues getting the gas meter to send data to the electric meter. Whatever his solution, it didn't work, because both the IHD & EDF agree that no gas readings are being delivered - although electric readings are fine. There's only about 2m distance between the meters, although one is upstairs & one in the cellar. I phoned EDF, who basically said I had to wait 90 days before they would agree that there was a problem. However if it hasn't paired in 3 days, I fail to see what's going to change over the next 90 days!!
Anyone know if there's anything I can do at my end to force it? The gas meter is a Landis+Gyr G470, if it makes any difference. There are various settings I can access via the two ('A' and 'B') buttons on the front, but I didn't want to go fiddling without a manual, and can't find those on the internet....

There really isn't anything you can do, if it wont pair then the supplier has to sort it out.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

If you haven't done so already, set yourself up on "my account" online with EDF
Then use it to give EDF a monthly reading of the Gas meter, and keep your own record of those readings0
