What to look for re reselling a property

  • I know, that one was really nice, but overall it was smaller, particularly in the kitchen, and the main thing that put me off was that apparently the owner has her pick of 3 or 4 offers already, and they're close to asking price...which I think is a lot for that property! The other one I looked at is more expensive, but in a way I think that makes it a bit easier because we don't think it's that expensive coming up from the south, but a lot of more local people do. So we're weighing it up, as for us it would be like a 5 year investment, so it's whether we like it enough to live there that long. It's very nice inside, as the pics show. I'd probably want to make some changes to the kitchen/diner space to make it a bit more homely, but that's cool, nothing major.

Agree re the study room, that is literally useless space - but I was thinking it could be converted quite easily into an en suite for bed 2?

Plumbing will be probably be a problem for that location above the hall.

They would probably have been better doing a jack&Jill over the master ensuite for the two bedrooms and freeing up the top floor bathroom space.

then make the dormer wider on the front bedroom to make the other space usable in the bedroom.

What's the schedule for Empire works?

    https://www.sbhomes.co.uk/developments/empire-works-phase-three#/

People have been buying them they want £290 for those 3b that are left

I would have a look at the sold prices of the earlier phases to get a feel for the new build pricing.
