Morning all! Didn't post yesterday as I went to Oxford for a day trip for a friends birthday. We went to the Alchemist bar where drinks were most definitely not cheap, lucky we only had two in there...Was much fun though watching drinks smoke and bubble or shine with glitter...Or both! We were lucky finding a great place to eat, advertised as cocktails and cmfort food and by god it definitely was..If anyone likes really good comfort food in a kind of southern style, go to Old Bones...Cheesy truffle fries! Oh my! Bang goes the diet....
Today we're going out again for lunch, meeting with different friends, again, looking forward to that..
Wales next week. I also have free tickets for the house renovation show on Friday and Sunday so will be sending OH and his mum there on the Friday so he can get some ideas and look at stuff in advance to show me on Sunday.
Washing planned for this afternoon along with a steam clean session. One of my friends asked me why I bought the cleaner and my response was, that it looked like fun. And I hate to admit it, but it is. I love watching things slowly become sparkling.....

Gers, sorry you're having a rubbish time, sonds like extra girding of loins is needed, in conjunction with squidgy hugs for you. Nanny, did you want to go on a cruise by any chance? :) dumpling, horrible isn't it? maybe embrace it by shaving it all off and having a cool colour put on? buzz cuts are in....:)
Hey all reading along, hope you're doing well....Slothlike Sunday....

Oh heck, Gers. That doesn't sound good. I hope a stomp around in the fresh air helps. If nothing else, it may bring some clarity about what the next step should be.
    Thinking of you.
  • Afternon all. Wet here today. We went grocery shopping today for DD as she wasn't very well. We took Dgs with us and he was very good. But my goodness people were parking just anywhere as close to the supermarket enntrance as they could. It was totally unbelievable. I saw one car just brush by a male pedestrian cue a lot of shouting. He was very lucky he wasn't badly injured.

Gers sending you a big hug.

    Have a good evening folks.
