Hi hoping someone can help..
I've got shares which I declared to universal credit so they know about them they are under the £6000 threshold, if I were to cash them in, what would happen to my benefits? Also do I need to inform UC that I have cashed them in?

AFAIK shares are like savings, so if you cash them in and still have less than £6000 no problem if it takes you over £6000 in savings you must tell them.0
