HSBC bank account application

Hi all,
I applied for a HSBC bank account with a small overdraft last week.
I already have a basic back account with them.
Today I received a text stating my application has been processed and I'll hear from them shortly.
I then tried logging on to my mobile app but it seems the pass code has changed.
My credit file history isn't great.
Anyone any idea if this is a positive or a negative sign from their experience of HSBC?

Given you have a basic account it will have been passed for a manual check. You will just have to wait.Life in the slow lane0

I applied with HSBC Wednesday I'm new to them so not sure with your situation however on timescale
Thursday they text me they are reviewing and today they messaged saying my account is open
Shouldnt have to wait long if that's anything to go by0
