Backdated PIP whilst on DLA

Been on DLA low rates and applied for PIP last May.
Dec awarded enhanced care and mobility backdated to their decision date in December.
Is is right that although PIP was awarded on circumstances at May but because DLA has been paid there is no adjustment?

That's right, you can be paid the two benefits at the same time!
  • Yes, that's correct. Equally, if you had previously been on DLA high rates and PIP awarded lower rates or was refused, you would not have to pay back the extra amounts received since May.
