I’m looking at switching my BG tariff to one that includes boiler/electricity/plumbing cover but read in the T&C’s that as I already have a HomeCare account I won’t be eligible for the added cover. How soon before I apply for a switch would I need to cancel my Homecare account to take advantage of the included cover?

As I understand it, as long as you don't have cover existing when you apply, then you can take advantage of the offer
