First Direct and Salary

Can I switch my Santander 123 current account to a First Direct Account. My day to day current account is with Natwest and my salary goes into NatWest. I do not want to change this. Is it possible to switch to a First Direct from my Santander without having to change where my salary goes into?

Also with a Nationwide Flex - does the monthly £1,000 need to stay there or can I deposit it into the Flex Acccount and withdraw it the next day?

    Yep. And with nationwide you don't even need to keep it there a day. Just transfer it
    In & straight back out again.

    In addition to the answer you have already been given: you should refer to the real account name in future. Nationwide have several current accounts:

    FlexBasic
    FlexAccount
    FlexDirect
    FlexPlus
