Any advice on the best way to manage money whilst over there? Money belt crammed with notes or some sort of bank account that's good for using over there?

ATM's are everywhere, even in the small villages. Take maybe 10 GBP to change at the airport for some small bills to get into Coloumbo (If you are taking the bus) if you are taking a cab most actually take card.
Have a look at opening a Revolut, Monzo or Starling accountThanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada  :dance:0
