Had this pet insurance for 3 years, paying about £400 year with increases every year due to my cats ages. First time I had to claim was last summer, fairly straightforward process, you fill in an online form and they contact your vet and then pay money into your bank. Claim took about 4 weeks and they paid it back minus £80 excess.
Second claim early November, it’s been over 2 months and I’ve not heard a thing. I emailed them 3 weeks ago as suggested in the auto email following my claim, no response. I’ll be phoning them tomorrow. Terrible service.
Just had my renewal through and now nearly £500 for the year. I’ll be cancelling my renewal mainly due to this appallingly service and I’ll take the risk and pay the premiums into a savings account to cover vet costs. Less hassle.
