Brilliant! I am about to read it. Hope there will be a transcript as it's really needed.

Some further details have now been posted on Pepipoo.

The counterclaim was based on section 15 of the Act in respect of the failure of CEL to place the signs, (or any sign), where they could be read without the driver having to leave the vehicle.

(Of equal interest perhaps, the OP has a 2nd claim coming up with regards to time limit free parking in car parks)

And when you consider that CEL are BPA members ??

Makes the BPA look totally stupid losing total control of their scammers .....
It's scammers like CEL that WILL kick the BPA into the long grass

I guess the signs were checked, audited and approved by the BPA? Perhaps the PePiPoo OP should write and ask them?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Surely this will apply to most signage, especially the PE nuclear submarine T&Cs.
