Defaults when paying , what can I do?

I had a debt from when I was made redundant that was bought by Lowell finance. I set up an agreement for a payment plan and I have been paying on time every month for the last 11 months. I recently got my credit report as we are wanting to apply for a mortgage. This is the only debt I have and I have noticed that they have marked it as a missed payment every single month for the last 11 month basically no payment has been recorded. I have contacted them numerous times by call and email for the last three months and I'm getting absolutely nowhere with them . They have admitted the account is upto date with no missed or late payments and insist they update the account when payments are made and can take upto 50 days to show , even though I've made payments for 11 months. They are absolutely no help whatsoever and my credit report is still showing defaults as early as last month's payment. What can I do as they are not bothering to help me, I feel like what's the point in paying if I'm getting defaults every month anyway 😪

If it defaulted, then it should be marked as a default each month, but the balance should be reducing.0

Your account defaulted when you failed to pay the contractual payment to the original creditor, that default stays on your file six years regardless of any current payment arrangement you may have with Lowell.
Makes no difference if your current payments are up to date, or not.
You are not getting defaults every month, please do some research on defaults and how they are reported on your credit file, its just a status update of the original default, as i said, it will show on your file for 6 years, if you stop paying, Lowell may take legal action against you, and you will then have a CCJ on your file for a further 6 years.
