  • Another late morning, very dull and grey outside some fog but not as bad as yesterday.

Just put the lamb bone and some cut up lamb into the PKP with broth mix, onion, carrot, jelly from the lamb and seasoning. Pot of scotch broth for lunch and probably tomorrow.

No plans for the rest of the day. I have a week to read 5 books. OH gave me a Rebus book to read, I found it very hard going, it took me several days to read it. Rather boring.

Supper tonight fish and chips, chocolate pots for dessert. I buy them occasionally for DB, he loves them.

    Hello all
I did manage to clean the bedroom yesterday, not quite a deep clean but not far off :D. It was fun watching Mr Fix It take the ceiling fan apart as he had to balance on the bed. It was like watching a gorilla on a trampoline :rotfl:. I was ready to catch him if he fell, as the good person I am, but I think in hindsight he would have just flattened me .
I went to town this morning to the BSoc and then to get some light bulbs. Unfortunately I couldn't find the ones I needed, but I did spend £1 on a microwave soup pot. Big spender me !
The WM is on again and when Mr Fix It wakes up ( he's fallen asleep in his chair ) I will hoover the kitchen and living room as there are some tissue bits now all over the floor ! Why is it when you check pockets there is always a tissue that still gets shredded in the WM, especially when there's a pair of black jeans in there  I think it's another mystery like "where do socks go when you put a pair in and only one comes out ?"
Later we will have a look at our finances for the coming year....... Mr Fix It loves a spreadsheet almost as much as I love a list :rotfl:
dp1 that must be such a worry for you all. I hope you get some answers soon. Hugs to all of you.
Mehefin :hello: Happy to "see" you.
Take care and hugs to anyone in need.

    Afternoon all,
Did a blitz round the house this morning, then washed my hair ready to go out with my oldest buddy for lunch, just to the Italian cafe up the road.I gave her her birthday present and we had a good catch up, not seen her for a month. On the way back she kindly did a slight detour so I could pick my meat pack up from the butchers.
Popped a rapid loaf in the BM when I got back, now think I'llpop my feet up for half an hour. Bought myself a knitting loom yesterday and am busy doing myself a scarf :D
Have a good weekend all x
