My mail centre definitely don't scan my inward parcels

They may do behind the scenes but you won't see it anywhere, only way to know is if you can manage to prise the info out of customer services.

They have internal processes but don't want to devalue tracked services by giving too much information.

My mail centre definitely don't scan my inward parcels, not even my signed for. On the occasions I have a concern about a buyerhen I take my signed for to a post office and queue up for a scan and a receipt.

You wont see those scans on any tracking.
Only shows on the RM intranet. Its not done on collection/drop off (though delivery offices can do an acceptance scan)
Its a network scan either by automated parcel sorting machine or hand scan. Its dependant on mail centre/routing at present though RM are working to increase this.
