Quanta Law - Misold interest only
Comments
-
Hi all,
Ive had same been going along with it so far but now saying passing over to Quanta Law as i have a good chance of a claim. Im guessing your advise would be steer clear ? What sort of liabilities if i go through with the claim ?0 -
You'll normally buy an expensive and useless insurance policy from them.
There's the obvious risk of potential consequences of making a fraudulent complaint, but as long as you know you have a valid complaint, you'll be fine.

Of course they tell you that you have a good chance of a claim....that's so you take out the loans etc. What have they based their conclusions on?

I think that is pretty much the scripted answer you get from many of these companies.
I used a independant advisor who has since dissolved his company. So not sure if they can get anywhere ?If the mortgage was bought before October 2004 then there is no-one -to complain to. If it was bought after that then the FSCS can be used but the success rate is single-digit figures and the FSCS has recently blasted companies putting in false claims. What exactly are they claiming has been done wrong?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I signed initial forms for Quanta Law to get my file from the lender and have an email asking me to complete their "online signup" for them to proceed. I don't want to proceed and I want to stop any progress on a claim by them. Do I just not complete the online signup or do I need to contact them? I would appreciate any advice. Many Thanks.0

You dont complete anything that enters you into a contract. You inform them that you do not wish to proceed.
