Replacing carpet to wooden floor

We are going to replace our carpet with engineered floor.
The building is a conversion and the lease states carpets throughout, but the MA said that if the sound insulation is good enough, we're allowed to replace the floor.
We've found various similar products on the web, one of them being these for acoustic undelay:
https://www.ikoustic.co.uk/products/floor/mutemat-3
https://www.insulationshop.co/15mm_acoustilay_15_sound_reduction_flooring_underlayment.html
The floor will be installed as a floating floor and it won't be attached to the joists.
Would this do as sound insulation for the people below us?
By the way, no kids or pets, and we typically walk on our slippers or socks.

I am no expert.
My thoughts are that for usual sounds your underlay is not worse than a carpet.
Your main concern is the the sound of your steps and similar - that will be much louder for a wooden floor.
If I am right, it's worth considering adding insulation under the existing boards, between the joists.0 -
Whatever you do a wooden floor will always be louder than a soft floor covering for your downstairs neighbours.
The conditions are in the lease for a reason.0 -
Yes, but there are special types of mineral wool for sound insulation
