Music Magpie Warranty’s

Bought an iPhone 7 Plus in November for myself for Christmas. Only used between 25th Dec and12th Jan. I was using it walking home in the rain and the home button stopped working.
They say it was accidental water damage but the phone is meant to be waterproof for 30 submerged, not 15 min just having some rain hit the screen.
What is the point of a warranty that doesn’t cover what the phone is meant to do.
I have contacted explaining consumer rights and they must prove and also tried a section 75, but that was pointless as they will not do anything because I had already sent the phone back.
Any other tips to help resolve?

Need more information. Where did you buy it from, Music Magpie? Used. New? Refurbished? On what exact date? On which date did you report it? Sent the phone back to where?potwashpotty wrote: »Bought an iPhone 7 Plus in November for myself for Christmas. Only used between 25th Dec and12th Jan. I bought from Music Magpie on 4th Nov as refurbished and reported it on the 12 Jan. I know it doesn’t matter to them but only used it from 25th Dec0
