Business Rates and RVA Surveyors

Anyone have any experience with RVA surveyors? In need of advice. Entered into contract and now don't know what to do. Thought they were going to charge a one off fixed fee but turns out its a five year contract.

Simply googling the name brings up many peoples experiences of this company, much of it stretching back years.

I also note their twitter account shows their last post was in 2013.

If you didn't do such simple checks as this before entering into a year contract with them, then I fear it's too late to be remorseful about it now. Put it down to a lesson learned. Everyday is a school day

Read the contract you agreed to comply with very carefully.
What part of it made you think it was a one off payment? And what part of it do you now understand ties you into a 5 year contract? :huh:

You will need to comply with whatever you agreed to to when you willingly entered into this contract, unless you have any evidence to suggest the other party is not complying with their side, in which case consult your legal adviser.
