I go to Australia each year for 3 months and remove my BT mobile SIM to be replaced by a Vodafone SIM in Australia. Nonetheless BT continue to charge me for received calls to my BT number. I wouldn't have thought this possible. Can anyone tell me otherwise?
I have spoken to BT but the individual effectively called me a liar and said I must have had the BT SIM in my phone. I have made a written complaint to BT but true to form they have not answered.
Any comments would be interesting.

WHEN did you switch the SIMs? Before travelling? Whilst in flight? After you'd landed in Australia? Did you switch SIMs with the handset on or off?
Did you have any calls go to voicemail?0 -
My guess is that you allowed the BT SIM to register on the foreign network before replacing it with a local sim and incoming calls are being diverted to voicemail, which will be chargeable (outside the EU).0
