Hp agreement - Can I transfer onto a new car

I have 1.5 diesel qashqai and I'm moving to within one mile of work. Meaning I'll rarely drive to work and will only use a car around the town, so I want to downgrade to a 1.0 litre petrol run around.
I've only had the car 6 months on a hp agreement - it's a 5 year agreement!
Can I switch that agreement onto a different car of a similar price and pay the same payments?

Ask whoever arranged the finance.0

Typically you would settle the existing finance agreement and take out a new one on the new car.0
-
no you cant.
you trade in the car and the finance is settled by the dealer
or
Sell privately and clear finance or we buy any car or similar.
Prepare to lose a whole lot of money too unfortunately.0
