I'm lookign now, with a view to do in towards end of April so I can get it all setup and open before May so I can move the money then as at present, the 1.5% plus the cash back i get(which pays for the account fee and still gives me a few quid) it working ok so no point moving just yet but just looking at a plan so i know what i'm doing, unless as someone else said above, something better comes along before then, which I doubt.

    Thanks

    Kev

If I was to put 3k lum sum then £100 monthly drip feed would this be possible ?
Is it worth doing with that amount ?
If so what's the best platform to use with this sort of plan ?

    Probably Vanguard.
You just need to invest an initial minimum of £500 then drip feed as little as you want.

A lot on here tend to recommend the life strategy funds. Some think they're a bit too much UK weighted so can mix it up with their ftse (exl UK) global index tracker.

That is your answer then, reduce the mortgage. Check your T&C's. If you don't reduce your current repayments you will get to the point were you will be able to make alternative arrangements for the freed up funds..._
