yup, the property is on the land registry, using the id supplied by the lender! So far so good, but then...
the RoS link to the identification form is a dead link, and the application form for the land registry is a sixteen pager, and not very user friendly... try clicking it if you want a laugh...

OK - it's a long form, but the Qs are pretty straightforward. Just work through and answer each.
The alternative is to pay someone to do it for you. Your choice!
To my mind the web page tells you what you need to know, in simple language, and provides easy links to the required registers and forms. What more do you expect from it?0 -

I would guess 99+% of applications are from legal professionals so there's not a great deal of value in them trying to make the form easy for the layperson.
Besides, you'll need to draft your Discharge deed and get it signed by the Nationwide before you worry about registering it.0 -
To the OP, how did you get one with doing this your self? I am in the same position and considering wether or not to use a lawyer.
