  • We are getting worse, another night with the light on till 2am. 8.30 before I woke and almost 10 before we got ourselves out of bed.

It was very foggy early on, but the sun is out and its clearing. Glad I do not have to go out, feeling a bit wobbit this morning. Despite what the Dr says I am convinced its the osteo medication. 3 days each week not feeling good is just too much.

Chicken pie tonight, mash, cabbage and mixed veg. We have cheese cake to finish for dessert.

Morning all! got up early for me but have been drinking tea and meandering doing things for a bit. Have an impromptu day out today, going to Cribbs, first time ever, mainly to go to the sushi bar [ love sushi and sashimi, but very rarely eat it] Having heard some horror stories I'm taking photos of where I park my car....Not intending buying anything, but if there's a kitchen shop with a useful gadjet, who knows! I actually want to get hold of a pasta machine but I can ask on freecycle for one of those...

It's drixxling but warmer here so the fire can be reinstated when I get home..Trying to give away some of the ash on freecycle in the hopes that someone with an allotment or fruit bushes will want it. There's only so much I can put in the compost...
I picked up a small cobblers last from someone last week and yesterday I scrubbed and cleaned it [ nifty little attachment I fitted to the drill, like a circular wire brush], then wiped and waxed and buffed it. It's now sitting by the front door to use as a doorstop instead of the piece of wood I was using.
Made far too much risotto last night so will be inventing recipes with the leftovers tonight...
Tomorrow I intend to do some more rationalisation of stuff with a capital STU...At some point this year the house is going to be rewired so the house will have to be empty and it's time for a bigger clear out than I've had before. I'm also going to go through my books [ which will take a while] and sell off any textbooks I still have or those I won't read again.

Gintot, hope the MRI shows nothing bad or something that can be treated. Bella, hope your dog can be treated too...TA, that's the joys of cats :) she'll probably settle down a bit when she realises she's not going anywhere..hopefully! snoozer, what an odd thing to do, did someone have a death wish?! camelot :::snort::: interesting evening :::more snorting::: :) Hope all are well reading along..Welcome Wednesday!

    Morning all
We had a lovely day with Dad at Trago yesterday, but it would have been easier to keep a couple of cats in control as they both shot off in different directions :rotfl: . However I think I overdid the walking and now have a very sore foot :(. Mr Fix It checked his app and we did about 5 miles . I haven't even emptied the shopping bags from last night :o.
The order for me today is feet up and rest, well add to that a few painkillers and maybe a couple of gentle foot rubs from himself ;). Mr Fix It is wandering down to the canal to watch our DGD canoe, the school must be bonkers in this weather. Although it's grey and drizzly today, it's only 5 degrees, but better than yesterday when it was probably frozen over.
I will pay my TV licence this afternoon as it's due the end of this month and Mr fix it will get tea. There are some chicken goujons in the fridge and wraps and salad to use up so he can do something chefy with that :D. Probably throw it all on a plate and tell me to help myself !

Right I will now attempt to hobble upstairs, just to get myself dressed :rotfl:.
Sorry I didn't get on yesterday and TBH I haven't taken in much today. so please accept my apologies.
    Take care all

    Nearly 'afternoon' from me.

I've been out since early doors. DM's laptop is now with the repair shop as I couldn't get W10 to download so the engineers are doing it, along with upgrading RAM etc.

I had gone to the surgery to collect scripts for DM, including one which was lost from last week which they reprinted. Whilst I was at the laptop shop I called in to the pharmacy next door. They had bother with the reprinted one, turns out that the surgery had posted it to our usual pharmacy. What a palaver and a lot of driving around.

Anyway, all done. DM fed and watered, all meds logged and put away.

Sorry to hear about woes, worries and wakefulness. Hugs all round.

    Happy Wednesday.

    Afternoon all,

Been busy this morning, had an email from my oldest friend and she is coming for a catch up on Friday. Given that it's her birthday next week and I hadnt bought anything, I decided to visit the nearest retail park to look for a gift, and luckily got fixed up, and a lovely card too. I'd normally make the card but am running out of time , I want to dye my hair before I pick DGS up.
RR sorry to hear the latest, take care.
    Gintot hope DGS is ok
