TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Imagine Cruising – Dubai Cruise – Absolute Radio” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competitionterms.html which also apply to this Competition.

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN
This competition is running on the Absolute Radio Network. There will be 5 overall winners – 1
per day from Monday 27th to Friday 31st January 2020.

The winner(s) will be those person(s) who enter their correct details online, are brought to air
and win the on air competition that is played that day. The winning person(s) information
should match to the information entered when they are contacted. If their details do not
match, they may have to forfeit their prize and may be disqualified.

Each day 2 entrant(s) will be selected by electronic random draw and brought to air. If an
entrant does not answer their phone a new entrant will be drawn until one is brought to air.
2 entrants will be brought to air to play one of the four games mentioned below. The game
mechanic of that day will be chosen by the station.

Both entrants will play against each other for their chance to win. The person declared the
winner by the presenters will win the prize. The person who loses will not win anything. The
presenter’s judgement is final.

‘Song in an Elevator’ Competition
A song will be played on air at high speed. The speed will gradually slow down. The two
entrants will be challenged to identify the song. The first entrant to correctly identify it will
win .

‘Tanks for the Memories’ Competition
The presenter will describe a historical event with underwater sound effects distoriting the
audio. The two listeners will need to work out what he is saying and the one who can correctly
identify first will win.

‘You Lose, You Cruise’ Competition
We'll play 'You Lose, You Cruise'. Two listeners will be invited to answer questions - the
listener who gets the most incorrect answers will win the prize.

‘Through the Porthole’ Competition
Matt Dyson will describe what he can see in three ‘cabins’ and the entrant must work out
which musician is occupying the ‘cabin’! The entrant who identifies the most musicians
correctly will win the prize.

The entrant(s) will be chosen by electronic random draw at 12 noon on the of previous
workday to that day’s competition. Ie. Monday will be drawn on Friday, Tuesday will be drawn
on Monday and so on [see 3.0]

If the entrant(s) do not answer from the initial call, a new contestant will be selected at
random and the original entrant will forfeit their right to play.

3. DATES Pre-registration: Entry Start Date and Entry End Date. From Wednesday 22nd
January 2020 at
00:01am (Start Date) to Thursday 30th January 2020 at 12:00 noon (End Date).
On Air Competition Round Start Date and End Date.: The competition will be held during the
Breakfast show (06:00 – 10:00) on the following dates:
- Monday 27th January 2020 - entrants will be selected by random electronic draw at
12 noon on Friday 24th January 2020.
- Tuesday 28th January 2020 - entrants will be selected by random electronic draw at
12 noon on Monday 27th January 2020.
- Wednesday 29th January 2020 - entrants will be selected by random electronic
draw at 12 noon on Tuesday 28
th January 2020.
- Thursday 30th January 2020 - entrants will be selected by random electronic draw
at 12 noon on Wednesday 29
th January 2020.
- Friday 31st January 2020 - entrants will be selected by random electronic draw at
12 noon on Thursday 30th January 2020.
Entries received before the Entry Start Date or after the Entry End Date will be invalid.
Winner Announcement. The name of the winner(s) will be announced on-air.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS • Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in
the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter this competition. Any such
entries will be void.
Other entry restrictions are as follows:
- Winners will be responsible for sourcing their all of their own insurance, vaccinations,
passport and travel documents, visa requirements etc.
- It’s up to the winner to ensure they are fit and able enough to travel otherwise this prize
will be invalid and new winner will be drawn
- Unless where expressly stated in these terms and conditions the prize excludes airport
transfers, any other travel required, the cost of food, drink, spending money or other
sustenance.
- Winners must be able to take the prize on the dates below as stated or on those dates
otherwise offered by the Imagine Cruising, which may be subject to change. If winners
are unable to take the prize on the dates offered, we reserve the right to withdraw and
reward the prize to another entrant.

5. THE PRIZE There will be a total of 5 winner(s) One per day. Each day, from Monday 27th January 2020 to
Friday 31st January 2020 one winner will win the following prize (“the Prize”):
Each winner(s) will be awarded with a pair of tickets (for 2 adults) to ‘Discover Dubai: Aquaaddicts family fun package’ which includes the following:
A 10-night holiday including cruise. This prize must be taken on the dates specific below and
cannot be moved.
The Discover Dubai: Aqua-addicts family fun package’ includes the below for 2 people:
• 11th December 2020 – depart London and fly Dubai. Economy class
• 2 / 3-night hotel stay at the Wyndham Dubai Marina and includes breakfast;
• A 24-hour Dubai attraction pass which includes:
o Hop-on Hop-off bus pass
o Dubai night tour
o Access to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo with tour
o Creek Dhow Cruise
• An Atlantis Aquaventure ‘Twilight’ Ticket for 2 people. Subject to availability.
• 14th December 2020 – 21st December 2020 - 7 night full-board cruise on board P&O
Cruises Oceana visiting: Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Sir Bani Yas & Abu Dhabi.
• Room is for 2 people staying in a standard inside cabin.
• 21st December 2020 – depart Dubai and return to London. Economy class.
• Transfer from Dubai airport to the hotel and from ship to Dubai airport are
included.
• All flights are included with the departure airport from London. Should a winner
require a different departing airport, this can be arranged via the prize provided as
regional flight options are available.
Prize Terms and Conditions:
- The winner(s) will be responsible for sourcing their own insurance, vaccinations, travel
documents, visa requirements if required, etc. The winner(s) will also be responsible for
ensuring that their guest has done the same.
- Both the winner and their guest must be over 18 years old.
- Only 1 prize can be claimed from entrants or their guests.
- It’s up to the winner(s) to ensure they, and their guest, are fit and able to travel otherwise
the Prize will be void and a new winner will be drawn.
- Unless where expressly stated in these terms and conditions the Prize excludes airport
transfers or any other travel required.
- Unless expressly stated, the cost of food, drink, spending money or any other sustenance is
not included.
- All gratuities, drinks, speciality dining, spa treatments and shore excursions are excluded and
at the winner(s) own expense.
- Any other excursions not mentioned in the T&Cs are not covered and are the winner(s)
responsibility to fulfil.
- Inside Cabin room can be upgraded at the winner(s) own expense subject to availability when
contacted directly by Imagine Cruising.
- Winner(s) must be able to take the Prize on the dates above as stated, or on those dates
otherwise offered by the Imagine Cruising, which may be subject to change.
- If winners are unable to take the Prize on the dates offered, we reserve the right to withdraw
the Prize and award the Prize to another entrant.
- The Prize is provided by Imagine Cruising we are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize,
including but not limited to unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
OTHER CONDITIONS
1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be
shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the
prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be
used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in
accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. For more details, see:

winner of the Competition publicly or where this information is requested, in order to fulfil our regulatory
obligations.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry
both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means
that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve
submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may
film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these
films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts
and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may
have had.
3. MISCELLANEOUS.
a. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think
you’ve breached them.
b. One entry per person
c. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our
decision is final, and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
d. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.
e. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during
a call.
f. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
g. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated
or likely to offend listeners.
h. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the
Competition / the Prize.
i. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances
outside our control.
