Same here! Great modern rooms, good facilities, and extremely handy location.

I managed to get London City Travelodge, which is very central and has very good reviews, for £40 per night, for a room with two people. This was for a Sunday and Monday in May. The price jumps up a lot for adding on either a Saturday or Wednesday.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal London City Hotel Tower Hill. Room faced the Tower of London. Great room with Swimming Pool and spa right next to the station. Cost was £127. Well worth it compared to a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge.
