Thanks for the link, but I was thinking more in terms of whether it needs to be signed on each page and the signature witnessed every time, how the pages should be attached etc.
My original is with a solicitor so I cannot check, if I want to do a new will myself . Like the OP, my will is no longer with the original solicitor. I have been informed who it is with, but it probably needs updating.0 -

Please don’t DIY it, the fact that you don’t even know how it needs to be signed and witnessed shows that you are at risk of making significant errors that could cost your beneficiaries big time.
A new will does not cost much, but a dodgy DIY one can cost a fortune in sorting out after you have gone.1
