contratcs advice and administration

I was provided windows by a company called Celsius Home Improvements. To cut a very long story short we went to court and the expert witness report showed the windows were manufactured incorrectly and the Judge made an order in our favour.

To avoid dealing with the issue Celsius went into administration and the company was sold by the owner to his fathers company to avoid fixing the windows and paying costs. Celsius continue to trade in exactly the same way with the same person running it. the company was sold and the terms were the same as before and the honoured all contracts except ours.

Incidentally the owner of the company who bought Celsius also owns Total Glass who manufactured the windows for Celsius - does anyone know if in law we have a case against Total Glass the manufacturers. Total Glass did come out to examine and inspect the windows and provided reports saying there were no problems with them prior to the court case. They sent workmen only a week before from total glass to fix them.

I know the contract is with Celsius ad therefore as they are in administration and will not be paying anyone out we cannot claim but we should have some way of getting our winodws put right surely?

Thanks

Can't see why you would, unless you had a manufacturers' guarantee.

Correct (other than putting in a claim to the administrators and seeing if you get a percentage, but I wouldn't be hopeful).

Probably, but looks like you'll have to pay for it.
