    Very odd - but a win for you as bet that sped up the application process a fair bit!


    The back and forth re my deposit added nearly 4 weeks on to the purchase! (thus why I said make sure you have everything ready to go OP... I was running around like a headless chicken!)
  • Yea very true, offer through to completion took just over 2 months incl Christmas break and a holiday in between! To be fair I kept harassing the Solicitors to make sure they were kept on their toes.

    I wont scare the OP, but mine took over 6 months thanks to very shoddy EA's (thankfully not mortgage related, that was sorted in 2 weeks - I have to give Halifax credit for their speediness!)
