MOT advisories are pretty meaningless. If you won't buy a used car that has ever had advisories, then you won't be buying a used car at all.

On its first MOT at 3 years old, my Fiat got an advisory that the suspension springs were rusty. It's now 10 years old, and still on its original springs.

It has never passed without a few advisories, even though it's been main dealer serviced since new. Parts that get an advisory one year can mysteriously fix themselves before the next MOT.
Last few mot's I did got advisories for having a child seat and for having an engine cover(as it should have and as it did coming from the factory). Fairly sure that's not gonna put off any buyers.

I service my own cars so it is incredibly rare for me to get an advisory. It's one of the reasons people love to buy cars from me. Year after year of passing MOT with no advisory. You can really tell how well a car has been looked after from it's MOT history.

All it really says is that you know the right MOT inspector.

I bought a used car last year. It came with a new MOT, and no advisories at all. One of the tyres was within a gnat's whisker of being illegally bald - it wasn't even 1.6mm across the whole of the tread. The other 3 were pretty ropey as well.

I would never have got away with that on the Fiat.

(I was aware that the tyres were bad when I test drove it, but I didn't realise quite how bad until I got it home and had a really good look.)
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
