Removing late payment

Hi all

I’ve had some unfair late payment markers recorded against me which the company have agreed to remove. They say they will have removed them by Friday. They are on Equifax only.
My question is, will Equifax also reflect them being removed by Friday or does the company also need to update Equifax on their monthly update before the account will show as corrected?

They can’t seem to answer this question for some reason...

It all depends when the company update their data with Equifax. Most companies do it once a month, however, as it appears to be their error they may do a manual update on Friday. Only the company will be able to tell you what they are planning to do.
