Hi all,
This is my first post here, I've tried searching for a thread relevant to my situation but was unable to find one.
I received a Parking Charge notice for August last year for the amount of £160! In relation to parking on double yellow lines. I do not recall parking there so asked for proof - they provided two photos of my car. Everyone i spoke to advised me not to pay and to ignore it as the debt was not owned by DRP so would not be enforceable. The letter from DRP was the first i had heard of any parking infringement.
I sent a letter, saying on the date in question the car was in my possession but i have no knowledge of parking there and that the notice has not been ignore and for them to accept this letter as denial of any liability. I received a letter back stating the appeal deadline had passed.
5 month down the line i now receive a letter from Gladstone solicitors saying "Our client now has the options to commence proceedings".
Where do i stand with this? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Wrong forum mate, there's a separate parking sub board.0

If it was a council issued notice then the people who you asked about ignoring it are very wrong...in fact the ignore advice has been wrong for some time now.
If they have a photo that shows your car parked on double yellows but you just cant remember then I doubt that will convince a judge.0 -
Sorry, i will try and post in the correct forum lol0

If DRP and Gladrags are involved then it absolutely is NOT a council PCN.0
