I don't understand why you have chosen to delete your query after receiving so much advice but i'm going to add something anyway.
If you made your claim on 15th January your assessment period will run from 15th January to 14th February. Any money you are paid during this period is taken into account. Your second assessment period will run from 15th February to 14th March - unfortunately, if you are paid on 15th February this payment will be taken into account in that second assessment.
As you have access to a benefits adviser I suggest you seek clarity over your existing entitlement and entitlement post birth. You also need to be clear about the significance of your claim date and how the UC monthly assessment period works. You may be able to withdraw your existing claim before it is decided and then make a new claim so that your assessment period runs differently.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
I had my appointment today. They said I could take an advance payment of £522.
I’ve read online I am offered the full 100% entitlement as an advance payment. Is this right?
My rent is more than this....or is it because baby isn’t due until 3weeks time?
I am clueless on universal credit and the ‘advisor’ seemed to be as well...0 -

I have replied in the new thread you started with the same question https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6098726/universal-credit-advance-payment
I explained previously at post 13 that your UC entitlement will be less until your baby is born.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
