Online course while on UC support group ESA

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew the answer. Ivee been looking at online courses due to trying to improve my mental health by having some sort of mental stimulation and have found a online course which my mum would fund. I am currently on the UC on the support group element for ESA I dont know what it's called since ESA moved over to UC. If I did this course it would all be online and would be part time no more than 10 hours a week would this effect my claim? Thanks

What type of online course is it?
Will you be registered as a student at a college or University?
Does it lead to a formal qualification? If so, what is the qualification?

More information is needed in order to be able to give you an answer.

It’s called Limited Capability for Work and Work Related Activity - LCWRA.

The extra money you get for this appears in the make up of your UC entitlement a# they LCWRA element (£336.20/month).
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

As you receive LCWRA you don't have any work related requirements, so doing the course does not affect your claim. It is purely whether you have alternative source of financial help toward living costs in the form of student finance. If you will receive student maintenance loans, then these need to be advised to Universal Credit.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
