Courtesy car FCN unpaid letter...help?

Hello I’ve been here before but never posted however this time I don’t know how to approach.
Whilst using a courtesy car (mine was being fixed) a Napier Car park was entered for about 4 minutes however decided against staying and therefore car not turned off or left etc.
35 days later letter arrives from Napier stating FCN was on car or handed to driver and remains unpaid. They say they have been advised I was driving or the registered keeper at the time and liable for the now £100 charges for failure to display a valid permit?
Which part do I contest?
- wrong date
- no FCN?
- the car company that gave our details incorrectly?
- didn’t actually park
Please help...so confused now.
TIA
The letter features the date however I did not have the car on the date mentioned.
Which part do I contest?
- wring date on

so this stems from the hire co mistaking you with another hirer
letter or email one , to the parking co ."I was not the hirer , keeper or driver on the date"
no matter what you write to them they will turn down , so no point in wasting words
letter , email or phone call to hire CO , "what the Flock!!!!" , sort it NOW0 -
Thank you! What if the Napier just wrote wrong date on letter to me though and correct date of event on the FCN to CO ...(as I have never seen this?)
TIA0 -
follow the letter to napier by a SAR0

Surely that is their problem, not yours. They are alleging that you breached a contract on a date 9n which no contract existed.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Hmmm sorry you are right.
I was not driving that car on that date.
I was not at that car park
And I did not receive a FCN
Thank you - I will call CO now like you have suggested.
Sorry for wasting your time all & THANK YOU0 -
Don't try to second guess. Go with what you have, which is that you were not keeper, driver, hirer or anything else to do with the vehicle on the date. End of.Supremeshelley wrote: »Thank you! when you ring hire co ask them to dend copy of letter (NTK) from parking co , dates will then be reviled , you can cross ref this to your hire paperwork dates0
