Who on the high street does them anymore? (answer nobody)
You will need to contact a specialist lender - how will you repay? Are you intending to sell one property to buy another?

Try Nationwide or visit a mortgage broker - likely to be a lot cheaper than bridging finance or personal loans.

In theory, no

In practise, well, it rather assumes you'd both be accepted, and both allowed to borrow the full amount, at a rate of interest you both could each individually afford to repay.

So, as a starter for 10 I assume you're both in full time employment and with little other borrowing...?
