Struggling to manage affairs

Hi there,
I am saving £300 pm into First Direct at 5% regular saver.
I am saving £250pm in Virgin at 2% regular saver.
Have a pot of £14000 to deal with it and no idea what to do with it. split it up and put into regular savings doing the max for each as I am doing for the above?
Also have £130 pm to save- again not sure.
Just can't take on searching for products etc the now due to health.
Any help here be great. I don't need access to my money for 2/3 years.
Thanks

Maximising savings returns can take a bit of time and effort, for relatively little reward. In your position, I would simply put the excess sums into Premium Bonds. Returns will be lower than you are getting on the other two accounts, but safe and straightforward, with always the very remote chance of a big win.0

If you can afford to lock your money away for two or three years you can get around 2% in fixed term deposits without messing about with multiple regular saver accounts.
Rates seem to be falling at the moment so worth fixing on one sooner rather than later.0 -

...and not to be too morbid about things, if health issues are driving financial decisions, it can sometimes be easier for executors to deal with NS&I than a range of accounts with different banks. I know there are threads on here about issues with NS&I, but normally they will check a National Insurance number against all their products at one go, which makes it quite easy.1

Good luck with your health.1
